Originally from Austria, in May 2005, Bernhard moved to London to pursue a career in film, and graduated from the London Film School in 2007. At the end of that year, he founded Iron Box Films. By 2009, he’d directed many short films, including HUMAN ASSEMBLY, which was part of the official selection of the World Wide Short Film Festival in Toronto.

His first film BETSY &LEONARD garnered 9 award nominations and 5 wins on the European festival circuit. His second feature film RAVERS premiered at FrightFest 2018. He developed Stavros Pamballis’ first feature film Siege on Liperti Street, which won 5 awards at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival.
